 Rachel Fox (MCIPD) - Director
Rachel Fox started her career in recruitment over 10 years ago, working her way up from Junior Resourcer to Senior Account Manager, taking charge of some of the largest accounts within the recruitment industry, working mainly within the media sector, she managed such accounts as BT, Energis, NTL, Estee Lauder, Sony BMG, Random House Publishing and BMG publishing. Working within such an industry opened doors into the media environment and before long she was headhunted to work for media giant Bertelsmann AG.
As the Resource Manager for the Bertelsmann UK group based in London, Rachel was responsible for the recruitment of many different sectors across a multitude of businesses with differing cultures. Such a role was a challenge and she had to juggle working with many different recruiting partners. This gave Rachel the inspiration to found friendlypeople recruitment in 2001.
“My main inspiration came from finding it difficult to find a recruitment partner with essential qualities to deal with differing cultures and different business sectors, at one point I was juggling over 50 different recruitment businesses in order to accommodate the staffing solutions for the majority of Bertelsmann UK’s businesses.

 Amanda Drage – Account Director
Amanda Drage joined friendlypeople in 2006 and has a strong track record of success within recruitment having worked in both the private and charity sectors.
Johnston Press and Macmillan Cancer Support are where Amanda has gained much of her experience, most of which lies on the Resource Management side, recruiting and implementing new teams as well re-organising existing ones. Training, coaching and mentoring new and existing staff, therefore giving her a thorough all round understanding of the recruitment process from a permanent and temporary perspective.
Amanda is responsible for the creation and retention of client accounts and prides herself on providing excellent account management together with a high quality and effective service. She is an accomplished resourcer who has excellent experience of utilising media channels to provide exceptional coverage on recruitment campaigns and has the innate ability to think outside the box.
